Maybe you’ve reached your goal and you can finally work
from home, or maybe you’re just inching closer to reaching
that goal. Whatever your case, you need to know that
working from home is a lot harder than you would think.

You will be battling distractions and a lack of structure.
You will also be constantly battling time, which seems to
go three times faster when you work from home.

So, here are some Dos and Dont’s to help you if and when
you are working from home.

Do: Buy a laptop.

If you don’t already have a laptop, get one. It’s a tax
write-off and the freedom it will give you for when and
where you can work is a must.

Don’t: Build a home office unless you can really afford it.

If you have the extra cash to build a home office then go
for it. But don’t borrow any money to do it. While a home
office is great and may be a goal of yours, don’t borrow
money to get it done. You’ll just be adding debt at a time
when you need to be building your income.

Instead just set up your office in a spare bedroom, or find
any space in your house where it’s semi-private and livable
including the basement or your garage. A couple hundred
bucks can dress-up either of those places.

As with any business there are always the pros and cons of running that business and what you should and shouldn’t be doing in order to keep business continually growing, and with MLM network marketers it is no different.  Here are a few reasons why so many MLM network marketers fail when building their MLM business.

Attrition. It’s something that the MLM network marketers industry has experienced over and over again. It’s something one can actually expect from the newest recruits. The thing about new recruits is that they expect that the money will roll in almost immediately.  They think that after a couple of weeks their downlines will be flooded. Unfortunately, even before the game starts, the new ones simply drop out. And that’s just the “warming up” period.

Distributors are quite astonished with this kind of statistics their business, but it is the reality of it. The answer why people are constantly dropping out of the industry is already transparent to most of us, as the money does not come in as quickly as one would like. Maybe, there is a greater reason why MLM network marketers just couldn’t figure it all out and that is what they were told or lead to believe in the first place; which is, you must always be recruiting or sponsoring…always. So in order to prevent such high turnover and keep the high attrition rate in the industry under control in your downline, then you will need to become a superb sponsor.

Sponsors are people who go out on their way to support their chosen team in order for success to take place. This is what most new MLM network marketers fail to realize and that is the attention all of their new downline needs. What people need is a little encouragement, a little push, and to be taught how to duplicate the efforts you used to bring them into the business.

Increased dropping out within your team is not a good thing to have to be constantly dealing with because of instead of building your team month after month, you are just trying to maintain your team.
When you sponsor, you teach and lead. You become a mentor to your downlines. You have to show them how you do it and be successful. Success is what MLM Network Marketers is all about. If you don’t do the leading, bad things tend to happen which will greatly affect your business. People will continue to get discouraged and eventually quit their business, which is your business.

Being a great sponsor is actually quite simple. All you have to do is show your people you care for them and their success as much as you do your own. You got that right, caring. You have to care for them like you care for your family and friends.  Treat your new prospects as you would want to be treated. Caring means that you have to show the utmost and genuine concern for their needs and make it apparent to them that you are always in their corner and are available for guidance. You need to know what part of the process they are having difficulties with and how you can help them individually.

Remember, MLM network marketers are working with others just like you. After showing them how you care, the next step would be teaching them how to become independent, either concerning decision making issues or financial issues. They have to learn how to become a leader and mentor and not just rely on your every command. You have to make them see how important it is to join your business and stick to it no matter what obstacles may arise. Give them some motivation in order for them to reach their goal…and they will.
